Hi guys,

My name is Jessica Reese and my daughter's name is Halle. Halle has been given an assignment by her 5th grade teacher to complete a service project that benefits someone else in the community that is not related to her.  Halle being the very caring child that she is has chosen to think bigger.

She has decided that she wants to make "I Care" packages to donate to the local homeless shelter.  I Care packages contain soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, wet wipes, a comb, a razor and sunscreen.  By your donations Halle can make about 200 packages to help out our homeless and needy community. Every little bit helps.

This is America and our motto is "United We Stand".  Let's make a stand together and help our fellow Americans.

I am a member of the Top Gun of Orlando Cheerleading squad. We are looking forward to an awesome year!  The gym teaches the basics of cheerleading and tumbling as well as teamwork, honesty, hard work and dedication.  As a member of the All-star squad I am required to maintain my grades and conducts at school, which I am proud to say are excellent!!  Cheerleading is very important to me and I work very hard to make sure that I can continue to do what I love.

I would like to ask you for your support by sponsoring me this season. Our squad will be tentatively competing in seven state competitions and four National level competitions.  However, in able to compete in these competitions there are many expenses for each team member.  Members have to reach a goal of $2900.00  which will cover all their expenses in order to compete and practice for the entire year.

I would appreciate any support that you could give me in reaching my goal.  I want to participate and cannot be a part of a winning team in the sport I love without your support!!  Thank you for believing is me and allowing me to believe in myself!

Can you Imagine a vaccine that would create a world free of breast cancer?
We can!

Dr. Vincent Tuohy and his team at the Cleveland Clinic have successfully tested a Breast Cancer Prevention Vaccine in his lab and are working to take it to human trials.

Please help us support Dr. Touhy’s research and help create a world where your daughters and granddaughters will never have to worry about the tragedy of facing breast cancer.  Right now his vaccine is specific to triple negative breast cancer, the most lethal for of breast cancer with no real treatment. We are about a year to going to bedside trials. Dr. Tuohy has received the funding that takes care of FDA, trials, etc., and our donations go strictly to research. The research is to continue the vaccine efforts with the other three forms of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer and possibly a host of other diseases. This is groundbreaking – don’t miss out on a chance to make a difference.

Dr. Touhy is an immunologist at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute and will head up the company, called Shield Biotech, as its chief science officer. Shield Biotech, so named because the vaccine it is developing will act as a defense against breast cancer, is a spinoff-company created by Cleveland Clinic Innovations, the commercialization arm of the hospital system.

“Someday I would like to meet all these shop owners and thank them personally for all this effort. I feel very fortunate that my work is supported by so many. Nancy Johnson interviewed me Wednesday for the local Gazette and asked me how I felt about the Brakes for Breasts program. I told her that I feel as if my community and neighbors are nourishing me. I never heard of any scientist who was embraced like this by so many people. This is so very special. I don’t know what to say anymore.”
Best,

Vincent K. Tuohy, Ph.D.
