So, I live near Niagara Falls Canada. My daughter is going to school in Florida. She calls me and says she has a flat tire. She ended up at Sloan's Automotive. She said "the place was really cool". Once they check the car over they told her all she needed was a tire plug. She said go ahead and they had her in and out of there in 20 minutes and didn't charge her anything. After she told me the story, I contacted the owner Ken Sloan to say thanks and try to pay him something but he said all I owe him was a high five. Which I will certainly give him when I go down to visit my daughter. It's very comforting to know someone will look after my daughter for me when she is so far away! We’ve been taking our cars to Sloan’s for over 10 years and they have always provided great service at a reasonable price. I especially like the no pressure vehicle checks. They honestly tell you what the car needs and what can wait till next time. They are a true standout in their field and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest mechanic.

worked on my g35 the studs and lugs were no good causing a lot of bumping and scrapping they worked on it and got the car running perfectly definitely bringing my car back for any future repairs

Took my vehicle to the dealership for an oil change and they recommended repairs (replace brakes/rotor/bearing, differential fluid, brake fluid, replace bad axle seal). A friend recommended Sloan's to possibly save some from the high dealer maintenance fees. The work was basic so I figured I'd save the money. Sloan's had my vehicle for 4-5 hours then texted a very good and detailed report but with a quote over $100 above the same scope from the dealership. I told the shop that the dealership offered a lower price and I'd be going back to the dealer. I was charged $50 for this estimate. The employees were very nice and knowledgeable but I was surprised the estimate was so high and they didn't care to negotiate. I went back to the dealer and was mailed a 20% off repair coupon in the meantime. I ended up saving several hundred bucks. The guy at Sloan's said he didn't know why the dealer wanted the brake fluid replaced which was helpful and saved me even more money. Thanks for that part, Sloan's. Sloan's must do good work as they are very highly rated but be careful assuming they are less expensive than dealerships...and they would have needed to keep my vehicle for a day and a half when the dealer had room to turn it around in about 5 hours plus have OEM parts that I trust. I would consider Sloan's again and hope this was a one off experience.
