I went to get an oil change and in the process was told that I needed to replace my brakes, which I knew, but they also said that my caliber was stuck and not working properly. I took my car to Kia to check on my engine recall and was told that yes I needed brakes but my caliber was just fine. So my brake job went from $830 to $190. I was very disappointed that I almost got taken advantage of.
Gisela, I apologize for making you feel like you were taken advantage of. I'm glad you were able to take care of the recall we pointed out to you though! When one pad is like new and the other on the same wheel is paper then, that's an issue that a normal brake job won't fix, it will just happen again. Our goal was to make it right so you don't have issues moving forward, especially with brakes being a big part of your safety.
